Your Account.
After opening your account, you will have your own version of the AdminisTour software. For example, if your company name is "Great Tours", you can log into your account at http://www.AdminisTour.com/GreatTours, which is easy for you to communicate to your staff. While opening your account, you will establish one username and your own password for the main user. We will call this user the "Administrator", or "Admin". You will also be asked how many users you wish to have, and our pricing is based on this number. After logging in using the Admin account, you can create all other users for your company.
Help is close.
Throughout AdminisTour, you will find ways to get assistance, if something is not entirely clear. We have added the following to help you along:

- Contact Us. Last, but certainly not least, we are only an email away. You can either access our contact form from the menu to ask us anything pertaining to our software, or email us directly at Info@AdminisTour.com and get a reply within 24 hours, even on weekends. Most often it is much faster than that.
Controlling Access.
The Admin user will have rights to do everything that's possible to do within AdminisTour. This includes changing your company information, billing preferences, etc. A very important part is the controlling of access for other users. The Admin user can create, reset the password or remove any other account for your company. After creating a user, it is important to assign the access that that user will be allowed. For example, A typical reservationist may be able to book tours for passengers and for other agents, but not create new tours. The reservationist may be able to print Rooming List Reports, but not Tour Status Reports. And so on. All this type of access is controlled from one screen, and the Admin user simply check off the access you allows for each user they have in the system. Of course, this access can be changed at any time. Above is a screenshot of what the Access Control page looks like and you can click on it to see a larger, readable version. Use your back button to get back here.
Reservationists and Agents.
Much like your business, AdminisTour uses two different kinds of users who book tours: Reservationists and Agents. The distinction between the two types of users access is identical to what it is in your business. This allows you to track exactly who books what trips, and for what agents. You control which user has which kind of access, and you can change this anytime you need to.
Starting the entering of data.
Before you start creating tours, you should first start by entering information specific to your company's tours. Tour Types and Pickup Locations should be entered before you start creating tours. AdminisTour provides a quick and easy way to create these items, found in the Administration section of the menu. Tour Types are used for your tracking only. It can be used to better target marketing efforts towards your past passengers. Here, you create the types of tours AdminisTour will give you as an option when creating a tour. Pickup Locations are first created, then they can be selected when a tour is created. Pickup Locations are then used by the boarding list, found under the reports section, to provide your coach operator with a complete boarding list for each tour. The pickup times are entered when booking the tour.
